Horse Camps
Howdy, and welcome to Palomino Pines! Where we offer one of Wisconsin‘s only truly western experiences.
Your little buckaroos will be learning under skilled western riders with a passion to share this lifestyle with others. Campers will experience 3 to 6 hours in the saddle, depending on the day and child’s ability.
When not in the saddle, campers enjoy outdoor group games and activities such as scavenger hunts, tie-dying shirts, and more. On the warmest day of the week we will have a beach day at Mauthe Lake for swimming and ice cream!
At the end of the week, your children will have the option to compete in either barrel races or pole bending. We will split up campers by age and/or ability to make for an enjoyable and fair playing field. Top qualifiers of these events will receive trophies and ribbons to take home. Family and friends are invited to attend on Friday for the fun western rodeo and a cookout on the house!
We offer three day-camp sessions for children ages 7 to 14 years (those under seven can participate if covered under private insurance). Camp runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday and a rodeo with family on Friday. It is important the campers start the date together so drop off times are firm. Pickup times can be flexible due to work schedules. No experience is necessary. All riding equipment will be provided but you can bring your own helmet if you prefer.
Campers will need to provide their own lunch each day. It is important to also have sunscreen, bug spray, a change of socks, and a big water bottle.
The cost is $600 for the week-long camp. 50% deposit is required at time of registration to hold your child’s spot.
If you have additional questions please contact us. To register your child/children, please use this link. (We will send a payment link upon completion of form).
