Riding Lessons

At Palomino Pines, we teach exclusively Western-style riding. With a larger seat on the horse for maximum comfort, this type of riding is exclusively associated with the cowboy culture and is for pure riding pleasure and enjoyment! And, we’re one of the only ranches in all of Wisconsin that offers it.

We provide lessons for beginner to intermediate riders, with a heavy focus on providing the correct foundation for western riders to be able to build on. These foundations can help for further eventing, showing or trail riding and are for riders of all ages.

Lessons are mainly individual/private; but if you would like to come with a friend, or family member, we can do a group lesson too!

Currently holding lessons YEAR ROUND in our HEATED indoor arena on Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. The cost is $70 for private; $60/person group and are an hour in length.

We understand life happens! You are able to stop lessons anytime, or cancel if you are unable to attend a week; but we do require a 48 hour notice for cancellations or reschedules. If we do not receive a 48 hour notice, we reserve the right to keep that lesson’s payment.
